Fall Exchange From Karen!
Did I mention I'm behind on everything?! Because I am...!
I got this beautiful exchange from Karen weeks and weeks ago and am just now getting around to posting a picture of it!

This sweet little pillow has been on my mantel all autumn. Karen's finishing is second-t0-none! It's really beautiful. And the goodies have been delved into since their arrival! She sent beautiful fabric quarters, fibers in gorgeous and vibrant fall colors, a dish towel, needles, and a glow-in-the-dark jack-o-lantern Pez dispenser that my 2 kids took off with all tucked inside a leaf dish! I love fall colors and this was just overflowing with them!
Thank you so much Karen!! And I am genuinely sorry it took me so long to finally post about it. It's been on my t0-do list for much too long!

Summer Exchange from Karen
I got my package in the mail on Wednesday night from Karen and it was brimming with summer goodness!
It all came beautifully wrapped in little cellophane bags with red, white, and blue ribbon. I had to get a picture of the lovely presentation before opening the little bags.

And here's the whole kit and kaboodle on display:

Karen stitched up Summer House from LHN. I love the fuzzy trim! And she sent along a sweet little bowl (perfect for containing all those pesky ORTs if you ask me), a pair of patriotic socks, 2 beautiful fat quarters, 3 skeins of summery threads, 2 pads of paper (DS is eying the bumble bee pad), and a tub of delicious smelling coconut body butter! I LOVE all things coconut scented and this is even a little shimmery so my legs are going to be looking and smelling great all summer!
Thank you Karen! Getting this was a real treat in the middle of what has been a long and arduous week.
While we're on the subject of packages I figure I'll go ahead and let everyone in the group know that I'm working on a package of my own these days. I'm pregnant with our third little offspring. I'm due December 7th so I am already getting a big headstart on my fall and winter exchanges for Natasha so they will be ready to go even if my life gets a little crazier by the mailing dates. I'm planning ahead so I don't fall behind! Here's an ultrasound pic of the little one at 7 weeks (I'm 16 weeks now). He/she looks like a little toad to me in this pic. Hopefully by our 20 week ultrasound he/she will be looking a less amphibious :)

Thanks Karen for a super summer package! It was a real delight!!

Spring Has Sprung! Exchange from Karen!!
I got my spring exchange from my mystery partner - Karen - on Monday! I would have posted sooner but Cuddle Bug suddenly came down with a fever and before I knew it I was thinking to myself "what is that nagging feeling I have that I was supposed to do something..." So without further delay, check it out:

Karen stitched Eat, Sleep, Stitch by Cherry Wood Designs for me and finished it into a darling little pillow. How perfect is the finishing fabric for this design?!
She also included a tin of mints, 2 skeins of Needle Necessities, beautiful blue finishing fabric, green-blue ric rac, and a needleminder and pins that she made herself. Here are close-ups of the needleminder and pins. Aren't the lovely?

I am pleased to report that it has been gorgeous here the past few days! We got a taste of spring. I told Karen I think she must have packed some beautiful Arizona sunshine in with this exchange! Unfortunately, DH is reporting that we are supposed to have highs in the 40s for the next few days. Oh well :)
Love seeing everyone else's packages coming in!! Happy spring stitchers!!

Winter Exchange from Karen D.
I received my winter exchange today from Karen D. She knows me quite well and really spoiled me. When this exchange started I had requested Shepherds Bush designs as I didn't have as many of them as I would like. All 4 seasons she delivered.

This is so cute! I just love it.

Karen also sent me some linen, a purple needleminder which she made, magnets, a frogging tool, an ort catcher (which she also made), a purple sock with lots of candy canes and the Recipes for a Cure cookbook that the Attic Needlework sold (which I really wanted!). Thank you so much Karen, for all my exchanges. You fulfilled my request quite well.
I have enjoyed this exchange forum this past year. I have chose not to participate next year. I really want to do more stitching for myself. Thank you Michele and Karen for putting this together.

Autumn Exchange from Karen
Today I received my Autumn exchange from Karen D. Once again, it is gorgeous!
Karen stitched "Scatter Pumpkins" by Shepherds Bush and finished it as a flat-fold. Believe it or not, this is my very first flat-fold. I have never even made one myself it. I absolutely love it!

It is so beautifully stitched and finished. Karen also sent me some very useful goodies.

Alot of my favorite things here, love it all!
Thank you Karen!

First Day of Summer
Today, June 21, is the first day of summer. What a perfect day to receive my Summer exchange from Karen.
Karen stitched a Shepherds Bush design, Scatter Freedom, and finished it is a small pillow. It is just beautiful.

Karen does beautiful stitching and finishing. She also included some very nice goodies.
She sent a piece of banding with a blue decorative edge, a fat quarter of patriotic fabric, a card of different 4th of July ribbons, a pack of #28 Bohin needles (which I have been wanting to try), some buttons and rusted pins and bells which she made, a skein of Belle Soie silk thread and a very cute wooden stick that has patriotic firecrackers on the top. I love all of it! Thank you Karen!

Happy Spring to Me!
I just received my Spring Exchange from Karen D. in the mail today and it is a beaute!
I had mentioned that I would like a Shepherd's Bush design as I don't have as many of them as I would like and Karen answered. She stitched "Scatter Kindness" and finished it in one of my favorite finishes. It has lots of cute buttons on it and she even put our names, exchange name and the year on the back.

She also sent me the most wonderful goodies that are just perfect for me. They were all wrapped up in the purple fabric that is in the background and the very colorful ribbon.

Thank you so much, Karen. I love all of it!
